In this post I will explore music that is suitable for playing sports or exercising in the gym. Indeed, every sport has its own rhythm, level of intensity, and dynamics, among many other characteristics. As a result, not every music track will resonate with listeners during such activities. That is why on Spotify they call them “mood playlists.” And yet, a quick attempt to find something meaningful there – or at least remotely suitable for sports – shows that, at best, the search results will appear very superficial, or at worst, will have nothing to do with the sport you were trying to find music for.
I have basketball, soccer (football), workout, and skate playlists. They are designed to represent the sports they are made for in the best way possible, respecting the vibe that each sport has.
A special place in my heart belongs to the Slam Dunk playlist, as I had spent a lot of time playing basketball. I am very careful when I add songs to this playlist. I only add songs that I would personally want to hear when playing the game. I may be a little old-school with my choices. Take it as me choosing music for the game when it had rules that made sense.

Final Thoughts:
I must say it was a lot of fun preparing this post. I like sports as much as I like music. I think it’s important to develop your full potential — intellectually, physically, and emotionally. If you do sports, remember not to overdo it (unless you’re preparing for the Olympics). If you’re playing contact sports, protect yourselves at all times. Stay healthy and avoid injuries. I’ll catch you next time. More great content is coming soon.
