Hi Everyone!
Thank you for joining me on this journey of new music discovery. This is my 1st post/newsletter. I will share my news, explain what my playlists are about, share some exciting music and more. The topics I choose and the music I share in my messages are not sponsored and the choices I make are strictly my personal choices dictated only by how I feel in the moment. I guarantee that all and any sponsored content will always be marked as “sponsored” and will be placed separately from the main text.
News:
A new playlist has been made public. I am calling it “Rock Archive”. It includes songs that have been featured on Night Rock, New Rock Talents and New Rock – Top 50 Selection. Other playlists have their own archives that will be made public once the main playlists reach their optimal sizes and the archives will be big enough to be significantly different from the main playlists.
Why to have an archive? This is simple. I love every single song that is added to my playlists. I mean it. I do not ever add anything that I personally would not be willing to listen to on repeat. As a result, when a playlist has reached its optimal size and I need to rotate songs, I have to take down songs accepted previously to create space for new music. But I would not want to forget about your music. Moreover, I would not want us to lose connection. Hence my public archives will be there to feature your music on them even when it has been taken down from the main playlists. The 1st such archive containing more than 400 songs is now public.

Music Picks:
In every post/newsletter I will be making a point to share several songs. This is done in order to let you know that on my playlists you find yourselves in a great company of talented artists alike. Mine are no nonsense playlists and you can say that I am a little proud of them.
This time I am choosing songs that strike the listener with their originality, performance and production quality, they represent their genre in the best way possible and, like every other song on my playlists, deserve to be discovered and loved by a broad audience. I hope that you will love and share.

Party Time II (ReDraw’s Recipe) by ReDraw https://open.spotify.com/track/31MWKSIUGMv8bTYtzEkhPF
This awesome punk-rock composition will blow you away with a solid performance, great mix and unmatched energy. It will win you even if rock music is not usually your cup of tea.
- Carnival Is Over by Prussia
https://open.spotify.com/track/3y3Fj6EDuSr6v7WBjxpR4J
This outstanding composition is full of great musical ideas and choices made as bravely as they are implemented. It dates back to 2006. It sounds absolutely great and the production is simply amazing.
- Rastafari by Fya Bryte
https://open.spotify.com/track/46U1i8lyKNsnL92g7KtTgt
This beauty of a reggae song had to be amazing from the very beginning. Just like Andrew Lloyd Webber had to make an absolute hit of his Jesus Christ Superstar, this song was also meant for greatness.
- I Kook The Beats by ITS ZARTAN and Red Robot:
https://open.spotify.com/track/2QzyieqDZVUIBwjfrmgueM
When I am listening to this song, only one word comes to mind: “perfection”. From the lyrics to the composition, performance and production this is just impeccable. Let us support our fellow talented independent artist. Even if normally you do not listen to rap, this song will make you change your mind, I guarantee.
Seasonal Vibes:
I have something special to share with you in this spooky Halloween season. Last year in October we released a 2-song rock music EP which happened to have a perfect connection to Halloween. It was not intentional; the songs were not meant as holiday songs and they are not. It is just that one of them is a blues-rock werewolf song and the other one is an industrial punk-rock vampire song.
Night Rock (by I-GOR): https://open.spotify.com/track/7toYoIlZxF7wtULXhe5bia
Thirsty (by I-GOR): https://open.spotify.com/track/7fRwyGOvOlE6pWyOTWmj5b
We also created a simple but cool animated video, available on YouTube, for both songs together.
On Until Dawn (2023 Halloween Special) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIaR3QLccIY
If you have kids or your friends have kids, I draw your attention to this pretty song:
Pointy Hat Clap by Micky Farkas: https://open.spotify.com/track/3OqBk7u1lR52a2HqXoSWHU
I hope that you have fun, enjoy and remember.
Night Rock Contest:
To celebrate the new beginnings, I am announcing the Night Rock Contest. The contest starts now and ends on October 31 if there is no winner before then.
Be the 1st to guess which 50s classic was my main inspiration for creating Night Rock and receive a gift of 50USD from me (payable by PayPal). In order to provide your answer, you must reply to this blog post on my website. Do not send me emails with the answer as it will not count. You need to mention the name of the song and the artist. And remember to identify yourself for otherwise it would be hard to say who won. Good luck!
Final Thoughts:
As you can see, I am exploring a new approach to playlists and music promotion. Like you, I have tried everything that the Internet has to offer. It has made me realize that something had to be done and done differently. I am not here to change the world. But I am doing what I can to help my fellow independent artists reach their audience. Support each other and stay tuned for more content coming soon!
